Before and After: Luxury London Apartment

A lot has changed since our last update on our Luxury London Apartment project and we are ready to reveal the unbelievable before and afters.

This sprawling 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of London needed updating throughout. The space was no longer practical for the family, requiring an extra bedroom and a more formalised lounge area to really bring the wow factor to this property.

The master bedroom is now transformed into a private oasis for relaxing and revitalising. Soft colours make the room peaceful and the pops of aqua add a fun touch to the room bringing through the personality of the family. Mirrored side tables and bespoke wardrobes bounce light around the room to enhance the rooms natural light whilst mottled metallic wallpaper from Zinc gave a classic luxury feel.

Our client was inspired by a trip to Morocco and wanted this to reflect within the bedroom. We designed a bespoke wardrobe to reflect this with a Moroccan pattern and mirror detailing. Pushing back the left hand wall made more space in the bedroom without compromising the bathroom size.

After pushing back the wall in the bedroom we decided to increase space in the bathroom by removing a wall and pushing this back also. We installed a full bath and walk in shower as this was a priority within this en-suite. The off white tile and bespoke mirrored cabinet created a spa like atmosphere to a once bland bathroom. The finishes from Duravit and Hansgrohe complimented the design of the bathroom.

The brief for the boy’s bedroom was “dark and moody” which we brought to life with a leather headboard and hardwood finishes. This sets the tone for the masculine interior. Wallpaper with a textured raffia from Thibaut and bedding from Evitavonni bring a luxury feel to this room.

This dining room is probably the biggest transformation of all. We removed the dated shelving at the back of the room and created a bespoke fireplace with 3D pearlised brick finish. Either side of this we designed mondrian mirror walls with bespoke lighting hanging in front. Using furniture from Tom Faulkner and Christopher Guy and photography artwork by Hiro Arakawa, we created a vibrant yet luxurious finish.

The brief for this room was to create a TV as well as separate Lounge which we achieved with bespoke mirror panel doors. Soft colours brought a calm and refreshing atmosphere whilst dark detailed edging throughout this room brought the interiors together.
