We are really tired of the miserable weather we are currently having in the UK so we thought we would brighten up your screen with some daring wallpaper and some colour!
Arte have always been one of our go to suppliers for wallpaper as the quality and patterns are second to none. We chose to style up the Menagerie of Extinct Animals, focusing on the muted greens and oranges running throughout the pattern. This has a whimsical feel which we complimented with vintage pieces like the brass table and cushions on the chair from Trouva.
The key when styling a bold wallpaper is to pick some of the more dominant colours and use these within your scheme to create a coordinated look. Green has been on trend for the last few years and we still love using this colour in the interiors that we design even if they don’t include a daring wallpaper! Playing with texture will give depth to your look. We chose to use a lot of velvet as this balanced the heavy furniture and almost vintage feel of the wallpaper. Look at the tones within the wallpaper; this wallpaper lent itself well to brass but a more cool toned paper may look great with polished chrome of silver.
