Mixing wood tones into an interior scheme is no new trend but we’ve noticed that paler woods or light timber are making they way through to the front line and becoming the stars of the show. This trend runs alongside the ‘move away from grey’ trend where we are using more natural colours in our interiors instead of grey everything.
Today we are sharing some of our favourite items to add into your interior to stay on trend with the pale timber trend.
We chose to focus our scheme around a bedroom because of the really dreamy bed options that are on the market at the moment. This one from John Lewis mixes the light timber trend with the rattan trend to create this perfectly formed bed with delicate detailing – a definite focus for your bedroom.
Storage is super important and we like how this design from Nikari is so simple that you could layer around it with lighting, wall finishes – such as this Romo one – and wall art without overpowering a small space.
A beautiful soft colour from Zoffany helps to tie the scheme together whilst being in keeping with the soft colour palette.
