A lot of us are now working from home – including the entire Falchi team! It can be hard to adjust after being in a creative and busy surrounding like our studio and you can feel a little demotivated when you are working from your dining table. We are here with some home office design ideas to perk up your space and get you loving the work from home vibe.
We have put together a little scheme of the key pieces you will need to make your office feel stylish and practical. A desk is of course a great starting point. This one we have chosen from West Elm would be brilliant in any home office but especially one that is used for other purposes as it is part of a shelving unit and this an be filled with pictures, accessories and plants to make the room feel a lot softer.
We know, the chair could be a lot more ergonomic, but we are designers and its quite hard to find an office chair that is attractive! This one is a great choice from Horm and Casamania and comfy enough to last you through the day.
This beautiful rug from Jennifer Manners brings the whole look together and adds a warmth. We love the mustard yellow colour which we have also picked up on in the artwork and similarly in the bronze accents of the light and maagzine rack.
Having a plant in your office room will give the space a fresh feel and will also make the space feel a lot nicer to work in. We always recommend having house plants in rooms where you spend a lot of time. Having one in your work place has been proven to improve work ethic and productivity through studies into Biophilic design.
