Today we talk all about commercial design and the trends we are loving to incorporate into these types of projects! Firstly, we’re back from our break – we took some time off of the blog after a very very busy autumn start and the redesign of our website. This break gave us a lot of time to look at new inspiration and see what we can show our followers that is new and exciting.
Black framework gives a sleek and refined look to any office space and also defines the space. Offices can feel very open and sparse but by adding in this framework alongside glass partitions keeps the open feel whilst defining boundaries between each space.
Neutral schemes have always been a winner in the office commercial design field. This is an easy environment to work within and can be updated with colourful accessories or artwork. However, the new trend seems to lean towards a more residential luxe feel where the office of an executive extends the feel of their home to their work space.
Sometimes even we feel like a shake up when it comes to where we sit in our office. Changing the scenery can help a creative mind open up and be more productive, or so they say! When working on a recent project for a commercial client we incorporated more break out areas which can also be used as working spaces for when employees need to get off their desk.
