Artwork For A Contemporary InteriorJune 2019
Artwork is an integral part of finishing a project for us and all other interior designers. It brings across the clients personality as well as bringing together all pf the colours and finishes of the room. Our clients will often have their own artwork which they wish to incorporate and we will always use this before suggesting new. However, some clients want a turn key look which means they would like new everything and artwork is often of high priority.
Here are a few contemporary artists we have been following and which we would use in our upcoming projects.
We discovered Tycjan on Cadogan Gallery and are really inspired by the simplicity of the artwork. The mix of soft and hard colours makes an impact whilst also having the ability to incorporate it easily within an interior scheme. Check out Tycjan’s work on Cadogan Gallery.
Instagram is one of the best places to find new products and suppliers and Rajan actually discovered us first. After having a look at his page we knew our clients would love his work. The abstract style works well with contemporary luxury interiors with the gold adding a touch of sparkle to the space. Rajan can create bespoke pieces which is perfect for us as we can choose exactly what colours and shades we would like incorporated and we then know this will work within the interior we design. Rajan’s Instagram is a feast for the eyes and perfectly displays his work.
We like to keep up with the art world as this can be very influential with our interior design and our clients. Saatchi Art has a wide range of artists with all different styles and is an easy site to navigate to find new inspirations. This is how we found Tassia Bianchini from Amsterdam, Netherlands. We like the strong lines but simple nature of Tassia’s art which is easy to incorporate into a sleek interior. A monochrome look is very popular with a lot of our clients as they want a look they can build on and change with each season. Tassia’s collection does include some colour which you can see on her Saatchi Art page.
